Over the past 20 years the Londra Directors have built up an extensive network of entrepreneurs and senior management in the IT and Technology sectors, and, as a result, have visibility of many quality projects seeking equity investment. This is not a trivial element of our offering. Project Origination – the sourcing of quality investment opportunities – is key to the credibility of the company and our profile in the industry.

Furthermore we recognise and appreciate the qualities in an early stage business that will attract the attention of an investor seeking a return in this space. We only engage with businesses that have something “special” about them – whether its exceptional management, technology innovation or customer traction.

We try to pass projects to funders that meet their investment criteria. We are conscious that however compelling a technology is, however technically brilliant, it is good management and good business processes that build significant companies. Londra appreciate the requirement for a deliverable return on equity within a specified timeframe.

A more identifiable element of the Londra offering is our “Project Filtering” service. As investors you are inundated with projects seeking capital, and a lot of your time is used in sorting the wheat from the chaff. Londra can take on this task by analysing the many Business Plans and Summaries that arrive at your desk, and identifying the opportunities that meet your investment criteria. In essence Londra would act as a project filtering outsource.

Finally Investors may wish to engage Londra to target specific opportunities. This would be termed “Opportunity Targeting”. Say, for example, you had a portfolio company in the VOIP space seeking innovative technology that would add to its offering, Londra could analyse the prospective target companies and actually make initial contact in an understated manner. In this way we could help you understand the appetite for investment / M&A at the target company, and see if a worthwhile meeting should be arranged.
